Making The Zigzag Stiching

The Zigzag stitch is a common stitch expert cricketers' use to create Afghans and much more. The steps are relatively easily and must be learned to complete the "Evening News" Afghan, or other patterns of Afghans. When you finish your chain, Bobble, Chevron, cluster, double crossover, crossover batch V-nails, etc., you zigzag your pastille stitches. To get started, we encourage you to read the steps below.

How to your Zig Zag creating lozenge stitch:

To start the zigzag lozenge stitching you need a database. The base is recognized by multiples of two, plus one. In the first series, starting in left side chain two stitches start your half-double crochet. Half double in the next stitch and skip a mask, including a half double, chain, and the second half double in the next stitch. Repeat steps starting with the final stitches skip a mask and work two half-doubles in your final stitch, then turn.

How half double stitch:

Chain stitch and then intersperse your hook, so it goes in the second chain stitch and away from your hook. Chain stitch again and prepare your yarn to get it through your finished chain and three loops on your hook. Chain stitch again and draw your yarn to make it through each of the three finished loops on hook, and the finish, working half-double nail into your pattern.

In the second set, continuing to zigzag on right side. Chain stitch 3 times to complete the beginning double crochet. Double crochet your first stitch, and chain again, and double crochet three clusters in the following spaces. Repeat your steps off the cross, and to finish working through the last room, add a link, you must turn two double Crochets in clusters, and top of your turning chain, and thereafter.

Moving to row three, chain stitch twice for your first half double. Skip off nails and half double, a chain, and the other half double followed by intervals and repeat your steps across, and finally, completing a half double crown in your part of the rotation chain, and then again.

Adding to the Zig Row 4:

Number 4 you will chain stitch three times for your first double, skip the first nails and cluster three doubles in the following space. Chain second mesh cross, and the final working a double crochet in top of your turning chain, and then again. Moving to the row, add five two chain stitches for the first half twice. Second half double stitch in the first mask, semi-double, the first chain half double, and in the following space. Repeat your steps across, and they finished working two, semi-doubles in the crown of your turning chain, and then again. Complete Your step by repeating the second through the five rows.

You have completed zigzag lozenge stitching step. Now you can move the sample squares, which summarizes eighteen rows. Once you have completed the steps, you can move the border, and finally finish your Afghan. When you are finished, however, you need to edge the pattern to finally finish your Afghan.

Remember, when you design an Afghan, especially Evening News, you'll have to work through one seven 1/2-inch gauge. When you start your pattern keep the texture and colors in mind.
