As destination weddings become increasingly popular, more and more couples are planning beach weddings. Although the beach makes a beautiful backdrop for a wedding, you should take extra account when planning your attire for a beach wedding wedding. The bride, groom and wedding party must be comfortable and cool, but still elegant.

Beach Bridal Dresses

Dresses for a beach wedding is usually less formal than a traditional church wedding. Long trains, ball gowns and big head pieces are not the norm. Your dress must be made of a light fabric such as chiffon, satin or silk. Short or tea length dresses are very appropriate. Elects not a skirt that is too light, so the wind can cause problems.

Choose shoes in silver, light blue or off white. Shoes with embellishments such as beading or stones, is perfect for beach wedding attire.

Beach Wedding attire for Men

A linen suit is perfect for the groom and his attendants. Choose a light color without a tie, or even white pants with a light button down shirt.
