The Fabric

Material of your wedding dress can tell the overall look and feel you want to achieve.

Satin: This material creates a shiny, silk-like appearance.

Organza: A thin sheath-like substance that flows easily.

Shantung: Made of intricate texture, this material can add a ribbed look to your dress.

Neckline

This will determine how your wedding dress fits and sits close to the neck and bust area.

Halter: This dress has a strap on each shoulder, which meets in back of neck.

Off-the-Shoulder: This neckline surrounds the bust, wrapping around the outer arm just below the shoulder.

Bateau: The substance of the dress link from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the second, giving it a boat neck look.

Sweetheart: A strapless gown, whose bust is cut to form a central Figure in front.

Strapless: As the name suggests, does not have straps on this dress. Rather, the material wraps under the arms.

The Silhouette

A-Line: A slim-fitting dress with vertical seams, forming a triangular shape (corresponding to the letter A) when worn.
