The most famous of the small chapels called The Little Chapel of the West. Since opening its doors in 1942, it has been home to many celebrity weddings over the years, including all 8 of Mickey Rooney's marriages. While Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton were married there.

Las Vegas offers celebrities the perfect way to marry quickly, without the press knowing about it until it last minute, if then. Two stars from the past who did just that was Bing Crosby and Clara Bow, one of the earliest silent screen star. Crosby got his license the day of the wedding, right at 9, so journalists would not know it. Bow wedding happened during the real story that she was taken from Hollywood for a rest to try to avert a mental collapse. It was decided by her and her boyfriend at the time that they should be married before she spent time with him at his ranch, so it happened at standing of the moment.

Of course, Vegas is also known for different types of theme weddings. Some chapels have up to 10 different well-known themes, where couples can get married.
