Since I live on an island here in Northwest Florida, I see beach weddings all the time. They are very popular here as in other beautiful coastal areas around the world. These weddings can range from very casual and inexpensive to sophisticated and very expensive. Regardless, the beautiful view and the whole ambience of the setting is free, and at the same time invaluable.

Beach weddings can present something of a dilemma for the bride as far as shoes go. I know because we had at the beach my wife just went barefoot and did I. We had a very casual wedding itself, she wore a beautiful sexy prom dress she borrowed from a niece, and I was wearing shorts and a pastel-colored polo shirt.

For Most people, they want shoes, plus not every one has powder soft sand that we have. The best bet for a Simple Beach Wedding is probably just go with a single pair of slip-ons, which can be matched to what your wedding's colors. If you go with a slip-on bridal shoes it will be easy to get sand between your toes and shake your feet when you come into the sand and start entertaining guests. They are also very good if your feet get wet, as they will dry quickly so you do not have to worry about get your feet wet during or after the ceremony if you choose.

If you have not chosen a color for your wedding yet, some good ideas for beach wedding shoes is gold, white and silver. But if you have a specific color theme in mind, slip-ons come in a wide range of colors, so even if you want to go with a light teal or aqua to go along the beach scene, you can do it easily.

You are welcome to customize and accessorize your shoes too. You can play with things like rhinestones and other gems, which will add a little game for the whole ensemble. To keep it toned down so they do not compete for attention with your wedding dress to keep them clear and colorless.

Become away from any kind of leather as far as the material they are based. Satin or synthetic materials are best because they dry easily and does not hold water. Whatever you choose Just be sure the shoes are simple, open and easy to remove sand and water, so your beach wedding will be as comfortable and care free as possible.
