All Size Colors

If you've ever tried to bind a book with large and medium color coil (larger than 30mm) you will understand how frustrating the process can be. For less and medium bookbinding you can easily use your spiral Inserter to quickly turn the coil binding for your document. However, inserting coil on great books is a lengthy manual process can be tedious. To make the process a little easier and save a lot of time, here are some tips for binding documents with spiral binding large:

1. Be sure to form the backbone of your book to match the curve of the coil binding you insert – If you just line up the holes in the book and try to insert the coil in the book you will find that the curvature of helical coils will make almost impossible to insert them. But the curved back of the book you should be able to insert the coil easier. Most spiral coil Enveloping machines have a small curved section at the top of them to help you get a suitable curve in your documents. But if you plan to do a lot more book covers with color coil binding you might consider investing in a coil bookbinding earlier. Coil a book spine former allows you to form backbone of the book and keep it in place while you insert the coil.

2. Consider using an oversize oval hole pattern – As the diameter of spiral coil increases, the thickness of the filament also increases. Insertion of the larger coil binding through standard-sized holes are often difficult. Using an oversized oval punch pattern provides larger holes to insert considerably easier.

3. Put away your Coil Inserter – After trying to use your electric coil Inserter to spin larger sizes of coil bindings on a pair of documents, you will soon discover that it is not working well. Insertion of large and medium-sized coil on books is actually faster if simply insert the coil binding by hand.

4. Try using a different pitch of coil – Use a different slope of the spiral, with fewer holes have a second option that is available to make binding documents with large diameters of coil binding a bit easier. Many printers that binds a larger mass of documents coil binding using a 2.5 HPI, 400 pitch coil. This spiral coil can be used with a 2:1 pitch rectangular hole thread die, but is much easier to deploy since the coil binding is a little more rigid, and it is significantly less spirals to paste. This type of coil binding is also available in sizes up to 2-1/4 "(56mm), where regular 4:1 pitch coil is only available in sizes up to 2 "(50mm).
